The Silenced is a horror film written and directed by Lee Hae-young. This film is about Ju Ran - a sickly young girl who gets transferred to a sanatorium boarding school to recover her health. Her physical condition improves thanks to her new friend Hong Yeon Deok, and the headmistress’s special treatment program. However, one day she notices that students are disappearing one by one and that her own body is undergoing abnormal changes. But nobody believed in her words. Therefore, Ju Ran determined to uncover the truth.
